Was ist der Swiss Pirate Cup?
Dies ist eine Turnierserie, bei welcher 13 unterschiedliche Shops in der ganzen Schweiz Turniere für bis zu 64 Spieler und mehr abhalten.
Wie funktioniert das System?
Der Sieger jedes einzelnen Turniers erhält eine Vivre Card und qualifiziert sich damit für die FINALS, bei denen es starke Preise in Form von speziellen Turnierpromokarten zu gewinnen gibt.
Zusätzlich können sich 10 weitere Spieler über ein Punktesystem qualifizieren. Jeder Sieg an einem Turnier zählt einen Punkt. Die Top4 Platzierung erhält einen Extrapunkt. Platz 2 erhält zwei Extrapunkte.
Der amtierende Swiss Pirate King ist für das Finalturnier automatisch qualifiziert.
Das ergibt ein Total von 24 Spielern für das Finale.
Kostet mich das mitspielen und erhalte ich was dafür?
Ja, jeder Spieler erhält zwei Boosterpacks sowie zwei Tournament Packs des aktuellen Sets.
Gibt es Preise weitere zu gewinnen?
Es gibt an den jeweiligen Turnieren einen Preispool in Form von Boosterpacks des aktuellen Sets zu gewinnen.
3x Boosterpack vom aktuellen pro Spieler in den Preispool
Winner: 20% Preispool, Winner Pack, Vivre Card
Runner up: 20% Preispool
Platz 3/4: je 15% Preispool
Platz 5-8: je 7.5% Preispool
Die Hauptpreise des Finals werden in Kürze bekannt gegeben.
Was für Regeln sind aufgestellt?
Es wird immer im BO1 30min (5min Overtime) gemäss den normalen Bandai-Regeln gespielt.
Zusätzlich spielen die acht best platzierten Spieler jedes Turniers einen TopCut mit BO3 60min (10min Overtime)

Es gibt ein BFL (Best Finish Limit)
Bei TCG (Trading Card Game) Turnieren bezieht sich ein „Best Finish Limit“ auf die maximale
Anzahl an Turnieren, bei denen ein Spieler das beste Ergebnis erzielen kann, um für bestimmte
Ranglisten oder Qualifikationen berücksichtigt zu werden. Im Fall des Swiss Pirate Cups
2026 ist das Limit für das beste Ergebnis auf 8 Turniere festgelegt, Das bedeutet, dass ein
Spieler maximal 8 Turniere mit dem besten Ergebnis in seine Ranglistenpunkte einbringen
kann. Kurzgesagt: Auch wenn mehr als 8 Turniere gespielt werden, weden nur die Punkte der 8
besten Ergebnisse an den Swiss Pirate Cup Turnieren addiert. Alle restlichen Punkte werden
ignoriert. Dadurch werden Spieler nicht ausschliesslich für das auftauchen an Turnieren belohnt
und Spieler, die immer wieder gute Platzierungen erreicht haben, sind nicht gezwungen an
jedes Turnier zu fahren.

What is the Swiss Pirate Cup?
The Swiss Pirate Cup is a tournament series in which 13 different shops across Switzerland host tournaments for up to 64 players or more.
How does the system work?
The winner of each individual tournament receives a Vivre Card and qualifies for the FINALS, where powerful prizes in the form of special tournament promo cards can be won.
In addition, 10 more players can qualify through a point system:
Each tournament win counts as 1 point
A Top 4 placement grants 1 additional point
2nd place grants 2 additional points
The reigning Swiss Pirate King is automatically qualified for the final tournament.
This results in a total of 24 players competing in the Finals.
Does it cost anything to participate, and do I receive anything?
Yes. Each player receives:
– 2 booster packs
– 2 tournament packs of the current set
Are there additional prizes to win?
Yes. Each tournament has a prize pool consisting of booster packs of the current set.
3× booster packs of the current set per player are added to the prize pool.
Prize distribution:
Winner: 20% of the prize pool, Winner Pack, Vivre Card
Runner-up: 20% of the prize pool
3rd / 4th place: 15% of the prize pool each
5th–8th place: 7.5% of the prize pool each
The main prizes for the Finals will be announced shortly.
What rules apply?
All matches are played Best of 1 (BO1) with 30 minutes (5 minutes overtime), according to standard Bandai rules
Additionally, the Top 8 players of each tournament will play a Top Cut in Best of 3 (BO3) with 60 minutes (10 minutes overtime)
Special information:
There is a Best Finish Limit (BFL).
In Trading Card Game tournaments, a Best Finish Limit refers to the maximum number of tournaments in which a player’s best results are counted toward rankings or qualifications.
For the Swiss Pirate Cup 2026, the Best Finish Limit is set to 8 tournaments.
This means that a player can contribute results from a maximum of 8 tournaments to their overall ranking points.
In short:
Even if a player participates in more than 8 tournaments, only the points from their 8 best results at Swiss Pirate Cup events will be counted. All additional results will be ignored.
This system ensures that players are not rewarded solely for attending many tournaments and that players who consistently achieve strong placements are not forced to attend every single event.
